While creating my logo I thought about things that were important to me to get some inspiration. This was not as easy as I thought it would be. It had to be something to attract attention yet simple enough to represent me. While I was making my logo and drawing my sketches I was trying to think of what represented me best. I incorporated my favorite colors and and a tree because those are things that I felt related to me. I thought that I wouldn't like my drawing of the tree not being life like but I actually seemed to like it more. These videos talked about the "pitch" which is essentially all of your ideas and designs. I thought the videos were good at explaining how to get the best logo. I chose the videos called Buddhism and Hinduism for this blog. I chose these videos because they seemed very interesting topics to learn about. The first video was about Hinduism and its architecture and art. This video talked about famous art like Kandariya Mahadev Temple and its significance which was very interesting. The second video was about Buddhism and the spread of Buddhism and its architecture. One thing that this video talked about was the Borobudur Temple and its significance. Both videos were really interesting and showed me just how important architecture was to Hinduism and Buddhism. These video talked about similar pieces of architecture like the book did. These videos taught me a lot about different cultures and what is important to them.

I watched the Science of Design video and Sustainable Development and Architecture video. In the Science of Design I learned that there is more to architecture than the style of it. Architecture has a lot of detail to it and it is a very complex project. For example when building a skyscraper many things have to be considered like rain, wind, and other weather conditions. In the second video Sustainable Development and Architecture I learned about how many architects like to be eco-friendly with their projects. They use many green products to help conserve our Earth. An example of architects being eco-friendly is solar energy. These videos talk about the complexities and style of building things, like the text does as well. I picked these two films because I liked the aspect of how they talked about why architecture is so complex and the science behind it. I also liked to learn about how architects are eco-friendly. Albright Knox

Mark Fox's Untitled (Fault) (2008) and Kelly Wallace Medium Rare (2014) had the biggest impression to me. For some reason I couldn't help but to get lost in these pieces of art. Something about these pieces were just beautiful to me. Joe Bradley's Mother and Child (2016) and Love Boat (2013) I felt a connection with. The use of the colors was interesting to me; it gave me a feeling of happiness and confusion at the same time. These pieces gave me a feeling like no other in this gallery and I really enjoyed them. Casey Riordan Millard's Shark Girl with Brick Disco Ball (2008) and Shark Girl with Brick Wall (2006) are pieces I would like to know more about. These pieces to me raised some questions. Her use of shark girl and brick in both her paintings to me were very different.
